As Infrastructure Operations Engineer, you will ensure the stability and performance of our global Linux estate. Working closely with end users and engineering, you will support trading and research platforms, drive automation, and deploy new servers.
Your future role:
- Administer, support, and upgrade Linux-based trading and research platforms
- Deploy new servers and manage end-to-end build processes
- Collaborate with engineering teams on automation and monitoring initiatives
- Investigate and resolve system issues to ensure long-term stability
- Contribute to process documentation and knowledge sharing
- Be part of on-call rota
Your present skillset:
- Strong Linux administration experience (Red Hat, CentOS)
- Full lifecycle server deployment experience
- Knowledge of server hardware components
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, LAN/WAN)
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and communication skills
- Team-oriented and adaptable
This role may involve shift work. Base salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 per year. Benefits and bonus included.
