The Business Analyst plays a essential role in driving our operations across the APAC and EMEA regions. In this team, you will serve as a key interface between global teams and regional stakeholders, ensuring that our trading platforms, risk management systems, and business processes are strategically aligned. This role demands a deep understanding of the financial markets and exceptional analytical capabilities and a ability to drive business improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your future role within QRT - Act as a key point of contact for the APAC and EMEA regions to ensure effective collaboration with the global team. - Understand and analyse business requirements. This includes working with internal stakeholders such as Traders, COO, Compliance to determine requirements for trading platforms, controls and risk management systems. - Evaluate offerings from external parties like prime brokers and vendors. - Propose solutions and conduct impact and gap analysis. - Elaborate the requirements to the concerned team for implementation and validate the high-level behaviour. - Project coordination with different teams, Act as a liaison between IT and business units. - Continuously seek ways to re-engineer processes and maintain high efficiency in existing and new systems. Your present skillset - 5+ years' relevant experience in a business analysis or technical role within a buy-side or investment firm - Strong project management skills, with capability to lead and manage multiple and concurrent projects. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyse complex data. - Experience working with front-office and trading, including good understanding of databases, SQL and Unix commands, would be an advantage - Ability for independent work, and to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of financial markets (specifically, in an APAC region) and fractional derivatives - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
